2004 Custom Yamaha Roadstar--One of a
Up for sale is a 2004 Custom Yamaha Roadstar. This beauty is a true one of a kind bike. Anyone who deals with Japanese bikes knows that Yamaha Roadstar is just about bulletproof. Classic, beautiful and brutally powerful, the Roadstar lurks near the top of the motorcyle food chain. This bike would make any owner proud to be seen on it. The powerful rumble from the HK pipes draws attention, and the graceful lines and tasteful paintwork keeps it there. It's a powerhouse with more torque than you will ever need. She's also plenty fast for a bike this size. The frame has not be altered in any way. With the exception of the Hypercharger, the HK pipes, and some minor carb tuning the motor is completely stock and the case and heads have never been opened. There’s ton of custom work, paint, and parts on the bike and I’ll try to cover it all. The bike has just under 27K miles on the clock and has never been abused or laid down. This scoot has NEVER seen a burnout pit I am the original owner and have clear title in hand to turn over to the lucky winner. The custom Candy Tangerine/White Diamond paint is only a year old. The pics below do absolutely NO justice for the paintwork. You’ve got to see it in the sun This bike is a head turning show stopper and I have a wall full of trophies she’s won to prove it I’ll even let them go with the bike. I also have a 4x8 vinyl dealers banner of the stock bike that I'll let go with the bike, plus many stock parts left over from the customization. I want to be honest with my auction, so here are the "warts" and all. The only blemish on the bike is two very small cracks in the paint just above the taillight.(see pics below)They appeared right after I installed the fresh tins and have not changed a bit in over 6K miles of riding. Nobody seems to notice them unless I point em' out. My painter said to leave em' alone and they would probably never get bigger. so I did, and they never grew. The rear tire is about 70 , and the front tire is going to need to be changed out after this riding season. The speedometer has a tendency to not register till the bike warms up, then works fine. I understand this is a very common problem with the Roadstar and I never worried about it. The average retail for both NADA and Kelly books are around 7700.00 for the stock bike. This bike also has over 6k in custom work, paint, and chrome. Not to mention countless hundreds of hours of my time and sweat. All REASONABLE offers will be considered, but please don't insult me with any ridiculously lowball stuff. Here's the list of custom parts and work that's been done. It's a long one... Custom White Diamond over Candy Tangerine Paint work with gunmetal gray accents. The white is the same pearly white you see on the late model Caddies. Extensive Custom accent lighting with ground effects in orange w/Kuryakyn bar mounted switches and flash/fade/dimmer remote control. Corbin "Stiletto" seat. I'll include a studded Corbin solo saddle and passenger seat to change over for 2-up riding. River Roads hard saddlebags w/ key locking EsayBracket mounts that pop on and off in about 10 seconds. Baron's Star Bars handlebars w/ Kuryakyn "ISO" grips and Throttle Boss. Grips also have pointed ends installed. Custom Mirrors w/ flame stems. Switchblade Shorty windshield that pops on and off in seconds. Custom "Jim Beam" Speedo face and shifter knob. These can be changed if you like. Custom made "Hurst" jockey shift w/ foot clutch. I can make it stock again if you like. Jockey shift set up will go with the bike either way. Custom made, axle cover mounted, rear LED turn signals. Custom Dynamics "Trick" signal flasher module w/ 9 different flash patterns. Run-turn-brake module for rear lights. Custom mounted Honda VTX headlight that matches the Kuryakyn light bar perfectly. I also have an extra bullet style 5.5in custom headlight that I'll let go with the bike. Chrome Yamaha engine guards with leather tool bag attached. Chrome Yamaha front fender bumper and chrome front/rear fender accent pieces. Chrome Yamaha front axle covers. Chrome Yamaha rectifier cover Chrome Yamaha rear brake reservoir cover. Kuryakyn chrome swingarm covers and side mount lighted license plate bracket. Custom taillight hood. Chrome Pro-One folding, footboard mounted highway pegs. PCS lowering kit. Rear is lowered 2 inches. I also have pile of stock parts I removed from the bike that will go with it if you want them. That about covers it I have probably missed some items and may have to come back and edit them in. Warranty: This motorcycle is being sold AS-IS. There is no implied or expressed warranty offered on this bike what so ever. To the best of my knowledge the bike is in excellent cosmetic, mechanical, and running condition. It is ridden regularly by myself and has never left me setting. ![]()
