Job description: Responsibilities: Ensure the integrity of the data centers and interface to the business communities during maintenance issues. Assist in the design and management of building new and remodeling outdated technology rooms as well as design regional office existing data center estate. Complete responsibility and accountability for day to day operation and maintenance of data center and regional office environments. 1. Coordinate the activities of all trades performing work in the Critical Infrastructure and Technology areas to ensure the reduction of costs and mitigate risk. 2. Ensure that all work performed meets Local Codes, Industry Standards and Common Practices. 3. Interface between user community management and CRES management relating to all facilities issues dealing with critical infrastructure issues 4. Accountability for spending on assigned projects. Keep costs to a minimum by ensuring that there is no duplication of efforts and reduction of change orders 5. Coordinate all Facilities related activities such as regular HVAC maintenance and scheduled power downs as well as the coordination of emergency repairs. 6. Oversee the implementation of Remote Site Monitoring onto a centralized Web Based platform. 7. Coordinate/ manage electrical installations, verify that the work was done per specified request, verify and process invoices 8. Maintain documentation in a centralized location for all 200 Branch offices 9. When necessary update AutoCAD drawings Essential Technical Skills: MUST have AutoCAD experience. Data Center Power, HVAC and space management skills. Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code). General understanding of Intel and Unix servers, Network infrastructure, Telecommunication cabling, Voice & Data communications. Strong working knowledge of PC application which include but are not limited to: Word documentation, PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Database, AutoCAD programs. Good communication skills, verbal and written. Professional Qualifications required: Project Management. Data Center design. Experience Desired: Minimum 6-10 years overall experience in a data center environments. *Could be working in Parsippany AND Jersey City locations. | |
