POSITION DETAILS Salary Range: $65-100K BEST INDURSTRY: Manufacturing Best Department: Engineering Report To : Manager, Elevator Systems 4 year degree 5-10 years experience RELOCATION Available NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE 10% Travel Required Work closely with our engineering teams around the world to define global component and elevator system concepts and requirements enabling products to be the most competitive and robust in the market. Support elevator system and component development teams by: .Developing Tools and Methodologies to assist Area System Integration Teams (SIT). .Develop Training to facilitate the development of system engineering competencies worldwide. .Work closely with both the SITs and global component development teams to define technical requirements. .Perform system and component trade-studies to identify cost/performance optimal configurations and break-points. .Support elevator system verification and validation. .Manage global component interface development and change. .Support the definition and analysis of new elevator system concepts. .Utilize state-of-the-practice modeling and simulation tools to help reduce product development cycle time. .Creation of elevator system engineering standards and standard work. .Mentor and train future elevator system engineers. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE: BS in Mechanical Engineering; MS in Mechanical Engineering a plus 5 years or more of mechanical design experience is required with more than 3 years elevator industry experience. Strong teaming skills with diverse global development center interactions Must be proficient in spoken and written English Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. | |
