POSITION DETAILS Salary Range: $75K- 95K Best Industry: Information Technology Best Department: Information Technology Up to 10% Travel 3-5 years of experience No sponsorship available No relocation available The job holder develops, codes and tests computer programs for small to medium projects within a distributed environment. S/he assists in implementing and supporting distributed application systems. S/he prepares documentation of all systems procedures and develops flowcharts for programs. S/he assists in trouble shooting problems within a distributed application. S/he utilizes standard procedures and techniques to write new programs and formulates concepts and solutions using appropriate technical components. This role entails working with external vendors who have provided solutions which, packaged together, enable Corporate Trust to function as a Bank in Mexico. The vendors are based in Mexico and a large proportion of source code/comments is in local language, as such, it will be necessary for the incumbent to be fluent in Spanish. Minimum 3 - 4 years experience required. Job holder must have knowledge of company's total computing environment, including the specific functions of our IT department and familiarity with existing technology infrastructure. S/he must have prior experience with all aspects of user acceptance, load or performance testing and expertise in developing and executing testing tools on multiple applications. Experience of vb6 and .Net technologies highly desirable. Technical / Other 1. Knowledge of Messaging Systems; i.e. MQ Series, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) Messaging Services etc., is highly desirable. 2. Knowledge of SWIFT is desired, but training will be provided. 3. Knowledge of Corporate Trust business and products. 4. Knowledge of Distributed Software Design Paradigms is mandatory. 6. Strong skill set with Relational Database Management Systems, especially SQL programming and debugging. 7. Excellent communication skills are mandatory, both in Spanish and English. 8. Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) is highly preferred. 9. Experience with VB6 is highly desirable. 10. Experience with .Net technology/IIS is mandatory. 11. Strong experience with Source Code Version Control as well as Standard Change Control/Implementation protocols is mandatory. 12. Strong Project Management skill sets are highly desirable, including use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft PowerPoint. | |
