We are looking for a hands-on Systems Administrator for our client based in Midtown Manhattan. Responsibilities: * Deployment and maintenance of all clients'' web assets * Primary contact for systems requirements for both the US and International teams * Provide top level support for production servers * Ensure that production environment is compliant with e-commerce compliances like PCI-DSS Requirements: * Deployment experience and expertise with Linux-based web servers * Significant Linux systems administration experience * SQL database experience, specifically MySQL and Postgres * Deep Apache knowledge (clusters, proxying, load balancing, SSL) * Security know-how * Familiarity with cryptography tools (e.g. secure shell, OpenSSL, IPSec) * Experience maintaining standard internet services such as DNS, DHCP, Samba, mail (e.g. Postfix, sendmail) **There is NO Relocation Assistance provided, therefore LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED.
