This is regarding a contract position (6 month contract with possibility of extension) as a Project Manager/ Business Analyst, with the largest independent biotech firm at their Head Quarters at Thousand Oaks, CA, 91320 Job Title Project Manager/ Business Analyst Job Location Thousand Oaks, CA, 91320 Job Industry Biotech Employment Type Full Time Contract- 6 months Relocation Not Provided Pay Scale $36/hr- $45/hr Experience with GxP is mandatory Detailed Job Description: The assignment is to perform project management and business analysis work for three small-to-medium sized projects, within our client's IS under the Electronic Data Management (EDM) Services group. Project Management Responsibilities • Responsible for creating and managing all project management methodologies, tools, and processes, co-facilitating workshops, and providing support to the team leads for the business analysis, infrastructure, development, validation, training, and application support work streams. Business Analysis Responsibilities • Work with Clients, Business Leads, and other team members to update business requirements, create validation documents, perform design analysis, develop and execute test protocols and provide system training in support of the our client's EDM projects. • Will work to ensure Validation documentation, Integration and Regression test protocols and outputs, and training materials meet our client's and regulatory standards. Requirements: Must have skills: Project Management: • Manage a validated system development/implementation effort • Identifies and documents project issues and escalates rapidly for resolution and decision-making • Facilitate resolution of workstream/project issues • Facilitate key meetings/workshops (e.g. requirements & design workshops) • Develop & submit weekly status reports to the project manager • Developing weekly status updates • Track and monitor the project plan, project schedule, and action items • Identifying Resource Requirements • Scope/Change Control Request • Create and maintain risk management plan. Includes obtaining feedback from workstream leads on risk mitigation plans • Update and maintain project communication plan Business Analysis: • Significant experience modeling business processes and constructing use cases for complex cross functional systems. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily relate system requirements to business users. • Experienced with producing GXP system requirements, testing, and traceability artifacts. • Self directed when assigned tasks and goals, excellent initiative to follow up on issues and with all levels of the organization. • Experience with all aspects of GXP systems development and business process analysis and design. • Familiar with GXP training processes and regulatory requirements. Preferred skills: • GAMP4 validation processes • Documentum, Cognos experience • Excellent presentation skills. • Is familiar with RUP from both a planning and execution stand point.
