Investment wanted for niche farming business. Simply put theres a massive demand vs. supply imbalance. There are 25% of americans each year requireing Cabrito(3-6mon),Chevon(7-12mon),or adult goats for religious,holiday,birthday,Feasts, or just everyday meals. That means of the 305+ million americans, over 75million consumers regularly require this meat throughout the year; only 20% of this need is produced locally, the rest is imported via special delivery at huge cost. By produceing locally one could grow in this otherwise informal and largely untapped market. In the begining concentrating on supply to Satelite farm processing plants. Then phasing into the processing and marketing directly to ethnic and social groups requireing specific needs. Having worked hands on with the Family farm and specifically with boargoats (meat-goats), I feel the best strategies resolve around free-range large scale grazing operations allowing the goats to obtain 98% of thier nutrition and weight from natural growth, or seeded plots. With only a small amount of grain w/minirals added to fill in the gaps, and train the goats to return to an area at a specified time, making care and culling easier. Simplied operations and procedures, developed over the past year through trial and error. Some facts about goats: 1. A male 'buck' goat can service aprox 200-400 females. 2. A female can birth upto four kids, twins and triplets being more frequent. 3. The number of goats birthed depends on hormonal levels, directly resulting from the 'happiness' of the herd. 4. Female birthing cycles occur twice a year. 5. female kids can be impregnated as soon as @5mon after birth. I'm looking for four 25k investors to invest in this simple operation, for which they will recieve 50k in a single balloon payment on the 5th anniversary. At which time I will upgrade to a larger piece of land and another opportunity to invest will present itself. The breakdown of the full 100k investment is as follows: 55,000.00 for land 15,000.00 for stock 30,000.00 for shelters/seed/shots Additional exspenses will be paid for by culling revenues. This is a simple operation, and i'm looking for investors who will not complicate it. Whatever legal paperwork you require for your ease of mind will be considered. If you would like to invest the entire amount of 100,000.00 I would consider increaseing the balloon payment on 100k investment to 110k.
