Help ensure the success of your child through academic excellence with tutoring! Any tutoring is beneficial to even the best of students. I am a special education teacher with a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations, B.A. in English, M.S. in Special Education (education specialist credential) and a M.A. in Special Education. This is my 8th year of teaching. I have taught all subjects mostly in grades 6th-12th, but can accommodate any grades. I also have developed a Living/Social/Study Skills elective for my students in the past for help with non-academic issues. I am trained in behavior management and test-taking strategies. I have worked with children from 5-19 years old, in various settings, for over 20 years. I use many modes of teaching to help any student with different needs and/or disabilities. I will draw on my expertise and experience to tailor each session to fit the needs of students to accelerate progress. Students will raise grades, improve self esteem and end up actually enjoying learning. One-on-one or group tutoring is available. I can meet at a public location or at your home. I have supplemental materials of my own for every subject that will aide in tutoring. I am fingerprinted through the Orange County Department of Education and have a tremendous amount of experience, background and education.
