Our client is located in beautiful Eau Claire, WI, seeks a talented Engineer to join our product development engineering team. High-level organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are required to take a product from concept through design and into production. Responsible for creating the engineered design of complete consumer products and incorporating engineering design, material selection, model testing, cost analysis, monitoring production start and quality control. Strong verbal and written skills are critical for interaction with marketing, sales, purchasing and offshore manufacturing. Intermediate to advanced skill level required for CAD 3D solid modeling. Familiarity with UL Standards and product safety is essential. Overseas travel required. BSME, BS in industrial technology, or equivalent. Five years experience in the design and development of electro/mechanical consumer products plus knowledge of die casting, sheet metal, plastic part design, manufacturing processes, and general electrical.
