A sales-driven company operating in the growth markets of material handling, distribution and automation, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of motorized roller product design from initiating new concepts to implementation. Primary duties include managing R&D as well as support for current products to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering plus at least five years of similar or related experience with at least three years of prior management experience. Advanced electrical and mechanical skills, strong communication skills, and experience with motor control are required. This position is located in beautiful, coastal Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington is a charming port city located in the southeastern corner of North Carolina between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. The city has become a popular destination because of its warm and sunny climate; historic preservation district; and annual events including Riverfest and the Azalea Festival.
