Strategic Account Executive/Business Development Manager for Solunus - Dallas

Seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performers to help grow our Salesforce customer base. Responsibilities include generating new business in targeted accounts and in new logo accounts, as well as playing a key role to drive strategic initiatives. Additional efforts include: lead qualification for all leads and sales opportunities, up-selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships.
Accurately forecast and deliver on sales within a specified US sales territory & meet the sales target.
Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts.
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
Network within the Salesforce Eco system; industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities.
Co-sell and work collaboratively work with all partners
Communicate effectively at all client levels, including C-level decision makers
Understand client business and technical and specific needs.
Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close new and existing opportunities (including proposal development, implementation, scope, and client presentations).
Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations.
Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business.
Education and Required Experience (Requirements):
BA/BS or equivalent; MBA is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desired
3-5 years’ experience with complex sales, solution selling and strategic accounts selling
Prior experience in business application sales, preferably in a cloud application environment
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales.
Prior experience in SaaS Industry is highly desirable.
Superior communication skills with internal resources and external clients is required.
Must be able to travel up to 40% including international travel
Candidates with Salesforce.com experience in a business development role are strongly desired.
