Goddess Kali is the divine destructive form of the Adi-Shakti. She is the divine protector who offers liberation. She is said to be the embodiment of the rage of goddess Durga who turned dark out of anger when two Demons Chanda and Munda attacked her. She took the form of Kali and slayed the demons.
