Brain Tumor Surgery

Brain Tumor Surgery

I'm Patrick Eneche, born with sickle cell anemia disorder. In 2005, I was diagnosed of septic arthritis of both knees and subsequently my knees were operated upon but not properly handled and managed. This resulted in a bilateral knee joint damage of my both knees and I am only able to walk with the support of the walking frames.

I was privileged to travel out of country between 2008 and 2019 for studies. In 2017, while I was outside the country, I developed a severe pain which emanated from my spine to the left side of my head; the doctors that managed suspected it was trigeminal and occipital neuralgia and adviced that I underwent a cervical MRI and brain MRI scan. After the MRI, the doctors found meningioma / glioma measuring 0.8 x 0.7 x 0.9cm, which was then, not significant for a surgery, so my doctor advised I repeated the MRI after 6 months to see if the tumor is growing. Following the first MRI, a cryotherapy abulation was done to keep me off pain for a period of one year.
