Countrywide Process - Document e-Recording
The process of recording a legal document with the County Recorders Office is referred to as "document recording." When they are recorded, documents like deeds, mortgage notes, mortgage satisfactions, and judgments become official public records. In California, Countrywide Process is able to finish document recordings quickly and effectively. We ensure that all of the documents we receive and record are returned to our clients as quickly as possible. Within a few days of recording your document, you will receive confirmation of the recording, an instrument number, and a copy of the recording. Because e-recording is still not required, you will need to place your order online and upload a black-and-white (not color) scan of the original documents. You will receive an email with an order confirmation once you place your order online. You will receive a follow-up email with a copy of your recorded document or a rejection notice once the process is finished. ![]()
