[The word “Ghost” should be Spirit as in Holy Spirit; God's Spirit is not a spook. Joseph was not the father of Jesus. God's Holy Spirit conceived Jesus before she was married to Joseph]. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. [See Isaiah 7:14 also. What does the word “virgin” mean? It means that no man had sex with her until Jesus was born, including Joseph (See Matthew 1:25 again). Jesus was God with us? Awesome]! Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. [Joseph knew her not means what? Joseph didn't have sex with her until after Jesus was born. Christ was conceived before Joseph married her. Many folks fail to read this verse plus others and think Joseph was the biological father of Jesus. Not so according to this and other verses]! Food for thought: Joseph’s genealogy is in Matthew chapter 1; notice the begats. Jesus’s genealogy through His mother Mary is in Luke 3; notice that there are no begats, plus, Heli is Mary’s father. Any way, many believe the virgin birth didn't happen as told in scriptures; these few scriptures and many more say otherwise. Which do you believe, scripture or mans' account. Where would unbelief in those scriptures lead you? The answer is: the wrong direction for sure. Study these scriptures and all others, daily if possible. Learn the truth. Thy word is truth, see John 17:17. The “key of David” is the true genealogy of Jesus Christ through King David and his son Nathan. That knowledge closes doors no man can open and opens doors no man can close. Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. (This verse is about Jesus Christ). Zechariah 12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; (Nathan, not Solomon, is in the genealogy of Jesus Christ; this is a second witness.
