The PeopleReady located at Fillmore, California, 93015 is currently hiring a PR 1409340/Maintenance Worker Job Description Maintenance Worker PeopleReady of Fillmore, CA is now hiring Maintenance Workers!We are looking to hire for a 6-week assignment (possibly longer) a Maintenance Technician/Custodian for the Public Works Department. Must have experience performing minor repairs when it comes to plumbing, light electrical, installing equipment, more of a handyman along with custodial duties. Custodial duties will be at City Hall for FIllmore, CA, Active Adult Center, and city parks. Must have a California Driver's License and a good driving record as you will be driving a city issued vehicle. Apply today and you could start as soon as tomorrow. Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $18 $20 / hour What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Worker: • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections. • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly. • Respond to maintenance requests from various departments in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Available shifts: Shift Timings 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements: • Must have at least 3 years recent experience as a Maintenance Technician/Handyman and Custodian. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. • Must pass a background check/drug screen and DMV check. • The pay listed is not definite, wil discuss once we schedule for an interview. • Light electrical repair • Light plumbing repair • Experience as a Handyman to handle all minor building repairs • Valid California Driver's License • Good DMV record (will drive city vehicle) • Background check and drug screening required Ready to take control of the way you work?
