Candidate will have the following: 5+ years of experience handling all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate (knowledge of New Jersey, New York and Florida probate a plus) ; Experience within a law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent). Academic credentials: College degree and/or paralegal certificate, will also consider a JD/paralegal candidate ; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required ; Keen knowledge of estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs and Microsoft. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings. Communicating with clients, financial planners, accountants, trustees and family members. Distributing estate assets, trust funding and deed work. Preparing asset spreadsheets and probate pleadings. Transferring assets to beneficiaries and filing all paperwork necessary to receive benefits. Performing other job related duties as assigned and assist attorneys when needed. ______________________ | |
