Delhi, June 25, 2025 – The price of CPP (Cast Polypropylene) Transparent Film, Grade 25 Micron, has increased by Rs.3 per kilogram in the Delhi market. According to industry sources, the rate has moved up from Rs.140/kg on June 24 to Rs.143/kg on June 25. This price hike is primarily attributed to: Steady demand from the food packaging and pharmaceutical sectors, particularly for heat-sealable applications. Tight domestic supply, as several manufacturers face backlogs due to pre-booked orders and limited raw material availability. Upward movement in polypropylene resin prices, with some suppliers reporting Rs.2–Rs.3/kg increases in PP granule costs over the last 4–5 days. Increased orders from converters preparing for high-volume monsoon and pre-festival production cycles.
