Distributors and traders report that demand from key downstream industries, particularly in insulation, and flexible foam manufacturing, has remained subdued in recent weeks. As a result, suppliers are under pressure to adjust prices downward to stimulate buying interest. The sentiment across the market remains cautious, with most participants adopting a wait-and-watch approach amid steady supply. Last six month market trend:- Looking at the last six-month price trend, the market had seen a notable upward movement from Rs.195/kg on 14th December to a peak of Rs.208/kg by 20th February. However, the bullish momentum did not sustain for long. From early March, the price gradually started to decline, falling to Rs.191/kg by mid-April. After a brief phase of stability, the price dropped further to Rs.182/kg on 13th May.
