GUVNL has carved out 14×50 MW slots in the Dholera Solar Park for this 700 MW package. Plots P1–P4, P8, and P9 are already awarded under earlier phases. Plot allocation in the new round will be based strictly on e-reverse auction ranking. The latest re-tender for solar projects in Gujarat’s Dholera park revives the earlier 700 MW allotment from Phase IX. Unlike the scrapped round, there is no ceiling tariff, opening scope for more aggressive bids. The previous auction was annulled after GERC noted lower tariffs in non-park tenders. GUVNL will compensate developers for generation loss beyond delivery point due to transmission constraints, using average CUF norms. However, no payment is due if the plant is ready before SCOD but the grid isn’t. Backdown compensation is also clearly defined. This package adds renewed momentum to Indian solar tenders by reactivating park-based capacities with clearer risk-sharing clauses. By offering 14 separate 50 MW blocks, the tender allows modular participation by mid-size and large developers alike. The removal of the ceiling tariff could result in record-low bids, in line with recent trends in Indian solar tenders that reflect heightened competition and maturing risk appetite. As states like Gujarat refine the structure of land-linked Indian solar tenders, bidders are increasingly evaluating project economics not just on tariff but also on clarity in grid access, backdown compensation, and delay safeguards—all of which are addressed in this bid round, Solar Tenders India, Solar Projects Tenders India, Renewable Energy Tenders India, Solar EPC India, Energylineindia. #SolarTendersIndia #SolarProjectsTendersIndia #RenewableEnergyTendersIndia #SolarEPCIndia #Energylineindia | |
