Ahmedabad, August 12, 2025. In the Ahmedabad plastics raw material market, the price of Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Metalized Film, 25 Micron grade remained steady at Rs.147 per kilogram on both August 11 and August 12, 2025. According to Indianpetrochem, no price fluctuation was observed during this two-day period, indicating a stable balance between demand and supply in the local packaging industry. CPP Metalized Film is widely used in flexible packaging applications for food, snacks, personal care products, and industrial goods. Its high barrier properties, ability to preserve freshness, and attractive metallic appearance make it one of the most preferred packaging materials in the market. While some polypropylene-based films have recently experienced minor price corrections, this grade has maintained stability, which is seen as a positive sign by both traders and converters. Indianpetrochem reports that the steady pricing can be attributed to consistent production levels at domestic film manufacturing units and uninterrupted raw material supply. Downstream packaging converters in Ahmedabad are currently operating at regular capacity, and inventory availability remains adequate. The international CPP market has also been stable over the past week, which has helped prevent volatility in domestic rates. Indian Producers.
