The Delhi market for Polyamide-6 (PA6), GSFC’s M28RC grade, showed signs of recovery this week. Prices climbed to Rs.187/kg on September 5,2025 up by Rs.2 from Rs.185/kg on September 4,2025. Earlier, on September 1, PA6 had slipped by Rs.3/kg, falling from Rs.188 to Rs.185, as weaker downstream demand from textiles and engineering plastics weighed on sentiment. Prices then held steady at Rs.185/kg through September 4 before staging a small rebound. Market participants attribute the recent improvement to renewed buying interest from automotive and packaging segments, coupled with stable supply conditions. However, the overall trend remains cautious, with processors keeping a close eye on caprolactam feedstock costs and crude oil movements. As reported by Indianpetrochem, India’s PA6 market dynamics continue to be influenced by both domestic production (GSFC, RIL) and import inflows from global suppliers.
